Fellowship Opportunities

Due to the generous donations of the James J. Londis and Family Fellowship, the Society of Adventist Philosophers is offering one student grant per conference. The winner of this grant will receive the funds for a national (within the USA) business class plane ticket to the city where the conference is being held, two nights in the hotel where the conference is being held (or one in close vicinity), a $200 budget for food, and will have the conference fee waived. To apply for this grant:

  1. The applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student;

  2. The applicant must submit a paper proposal that can be incorporated in SAP’s Annual Meeting within the deadline stated in the call for papers to adventistphilosophy@gmail.com. The proposal must include in the heading “Application for the James J. Londis and Family Fellowship Grant”

  3. Along with the paper proposal, the applicant must submit a personal statement which includes a short biography and reasons why you are the ideal candidate to receive the grant (max. 500 words).

The Society Executive Committee and the Lectureship Steering Committee will review proposals and select those deemed to have the greatest need and/or merit.
